About Us

Sardik Engineering was created in Australia in 1954 by Frank Dickson who was a chemical Engineer. Sardik has been designing and manufacturing mixing equipment for the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and water treatment industries for almost 70 years and has solved many engineering and mixing challenges for worldwide companies such as Allnex Resins and Proctor and Gamble. In addition, Sardik built the largest PVA reactor mixer in the world and was nominated by the Commonwealth bank for exporter of the year in 2000.

In 1975, Anthony Dickson took over from his father and continues to this day as a Director. In October 2021, Sardik merged with Miller Dispersion Equipment P/L that was originally known as WJ Miller (started by Bill Miller in 1952). Pat Mulqueeney joined the company in 1983 and became the Managing Director. Since that time, the company has been involved in producing a variety of equipment and turnkey projects for various companies over a wide range of industries. Two of the largest projects budgeted in the vicinity of $6m.

The decision to merge was a strategic move designed to increase the company’s growth and enable complete turnkey operations. Today, Sardik has the combined construction and technical expertise to design and construct sophisticated plants for the industries mentioned above as well as industries working in hazardous and flammable class 1 zone1 areas with the ability to include PLC / SCADA / HMI control.

Our company now holds a unique position in the marketplace, offering a broad scope of capability. Our internal manufacturing capacity allows shorter lead times and gives us a competitive advantage especially in servicing existing and new clients. We have a solid and successful history of supporting industry in Australia and as a united company we will continue to do so. Sardik is now poised to expand into a rapidly growing market and dominate such a niche and highly lucrative area in manufacturing in Australia.

The values underpinning our designs

Innovation

Always find opportunities for innovation. We want every design and prototype to outperform the last.

Longevity

Design and build equipment to last. With a suite of over-engineered products, we’re always designing with longevity in mind.

Optimisation

Every piece of equipment we deliver should be the most efficient, most effective, and the best product it can be.

Quality

From the design we create to the materials we use and of course, the end product. It’s all based on quality.

How we achieve continuous improvement

Our mixing products are the best you’ll find in Australia because they’re over-engineered. They’re more advanced than any other mixers because we’ve been innovating and optimising these designs for so long.

Step 1

Get the Brief

We’ll find out what you’re trying to mix and any parameters you have on your fluids or powders. We’ll get as much information as we can from you on your mixing process and any issues you’ve had so far.

Step 1

Step 2

Run the Data

Using all the information from you and our specialist software, we’ll work out what size mixer you need. Here, we’ll provide you with a datasheet specifying your new mixer’s critical dimensions.

Step 2

Step 3

Design the Product

We’ll draw up and design your brand new product, incorporating any requested features or necessary elements to solve your existing mixing problems. Our team will create a prototype and test it against materials of relevant consistencies.

Step 3

Step 4

Order the Parts

Once we have the design just right, we’ll need to order your custom parts and materials to make your custom mixer. Our part designs are meticulous and we only order these materials from the best in the industry.

Step 4

Step 5

Build the Mixer

Your custom mixer will be assembled using the finest custom-designed parts and quality materials. Then, it’ll be sent out to you, so you can begin mixing more effectively and efficiently.
